What is Group in Action?

Group in Action is a therapy group for people to explore and share aspects of their life in a safe and supportive environment.

You will find people from a diverse range of experience and backgrounds. The group offers participants the opportunity to build relationships at the Interpersonal level that reflect relationships in everyday life. It can challenge you to look at behaviours and parts you are not aware of or you avoid.

 

Group therapy provides the opportunity to experience a place for personal change, understanding and growth.

Adam McLean has extensive experience working with group’s anad is passionate about the power of group as a change agent. He is a Group Therapist, Coordinator of the Group Therapy Internship, and faculty member of the Jansen Newman Institute Sydney. He is in private practice and is a clinical supervisor and has experience in training and education. He has facilitated therapy groups for over 7 years and trained group leaders, therapists and staff in organisations om the power of group. Previously he led groups in a variety of group settings including face to face, telephone support groups and online educational support groups. he is a Clinical Supervisor for Group leaders and Therapists and is a faculty member of the Centre for Existential Practice in Sydney.
