Group Therapy
To be in a group is one of the most illuminating, challenging and
rewarding times anyone can experience. Irvin Yalom

If you are someone who struggles in your relationships, group therapy can help you to identify what gets in the way of having meaningful relationships.
The first group we belong to is our family. We area part of groups, whether at our place of work, socially, learning or online, just look at the rapid growth and expansion of online social networking.
- Maybe you are afraid to be in a therapy group – perhaps you don’t want to feel vulnerable and are fearful of being exposed or hurt.
- You are not always assertive in your communication and find it difficult to ask for what you want and need in your relationships
- Life is a struggle and you feel stuck or trapped in old patterns
- You feel alone and unsupported and keep making the same mistakes
- It’s difficult to relate to others in a deep and meaning way
- You feel depressed or anxious about life in general and find it difficult to make decisions
If you can relate to any of the above, then you are not alone.
Group therapy may be a place for you to explore these issues
in a safe and supportive environment.
You will get to know how you relate to others, how others relate to you and identify among other things, behaviours that hold you back from meaningful relationships.
Once or twice a year I run 3 and 4 day residential personal development groups for individuals and organisations.
